They differ from the characteristics of previous generations. In this context, it is important to understand their mindset, needs and expectations (millennials) so that we can adapt our educational policies and practices to their requirements (physical, mental, emotional and cultural). This article aimed to discuss the impact of this paradigm shift on education, which needs to reorient itself, with a focus on qualification – retraining – upskilling with an entrepreneurial mindset, rather than simply bombarding learners with information that we call New Age education.
