Nyu Group Legal Plan

Provides access to a national network of more than 12,000 lawyers who will help you and all your family members with important legal matters such as wills, real estate, estate planning, financial matters and more. NYU does not offer legal services to students, but there are a number of resources in New York that can help you find a lawyer and/or provide you with limited legal advice. Although NYU does not offer exam supervision, the following colleges offer the service by appointment and for a fee. Please note that enrolment in a group legal plan is only available to student staff who are eligible for a Local Bargaining Unit 2110. You have 31 days from the date of your appointment to register for the Group Legal Plan through the Benefits Resource Centre. Registration takes place until the end of the calendar year. If you are appointed to a Local 2110 position that begins in the current calendar year before annual membership and ends the following calendar year, you must log in to the Group Legal Plan through the Benefits Resource Centre at the annual Group Legal Plan to continue enrolling in the Group Legal Plan.
