Is Airbnb a Reputable Company

Booking was a complete nightmare. Some amenities listed in the contract are not accessible during our stay, such as beach access from the property. We paid specifically for this location as it is right on the beach with direct access to a NO DRIVE beach. Pray for fair compensation for this enormous inconvenience. We were offered $34 of our total paid, $842 for 2 nights. Remember that you do not have access to the beach from the property! We are told to go to a public place! Our worries and disappointments were constantly ignored and set on fire. We are so upset with how our trip went and how Airbnb and ownership handled our issues. Make sure you read the fine print on BOTH contracts (airbnb and accommodation) before committing to a contract. Ask all questions before payment and have them put in writing. This will be a valuable lesson for us. Never again.

It violates many Airbnb policies, it`s also a scam if the host pretends to be the owner and constantly asks for money outside of airbnb and threatens to write bad reviews if you don`t write a good review (I don`t know where this kind of behavior is acceptable except on airbnb). ** must not be on Airbnb. This is not a standard in which I have stayed in any country in 11 years and the host lies and violates all ethical laws and practices. Airbnb employees violate their own code of conduct and the LAW with this horrific behavior and abuse on my part as a guest. The amount of nightmares piling up against Airbnb that I see online and on Twitter is horrible since they outsourced their service overseas. I booked two Oversees seats. Upon arrival, the place smells dirty, smells of musty and mold. I stayed overnight because it was late. Left in the morning, found another Airbnb.

After 2 weeks, she wrote a review about the lies that I didn`t pay or stayed free during my week of unpaid stay? Twice in the review, I used too much electricity (she asked for more money outside of airbnb to pay utilities, also asked me 120 euros to check in early in cash in person, violations of Airbnbs to collect money outside and try to scam people like that when Airbnbs include all this, I have been host and guest since 2011, Not like she joined only 3 months ago. The support for weeks gave me the trick, rehearsing like robots. The review holds even when I ask why I can`t respond to the vile review on my page, they ignore me!! They let that person who is lying, violating laws and all Airbnb standards and policies maintain their ownership and stay on airbnb. All of this is illegal, so I`m working on a legal case that they`re going to pay for. I also asked for a refund for the week the host was paid for as they lie twice in a public review on my profile that I didn`t pay for my weekly stay!! Airbnb is a marketplace where people can list or find listings around the world. People list their houses or apartments online, and people rent them out for a given price and time.
