Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences

In principle and in practice, AHLA values and attempts to promote and promote diverse and integrative participation within the association, regardless of gender, race, ethnic origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin or disability. Guided by these values, the Association strongly encourages and welcomes the participation of diverse people as it guides health law towards excellence through education, information and dialogue. Twice a year (winter and summer), the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy publishes Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences, The Health Policy and Law Review from Loyola University Chicago. Annals contains articles of general interest in health law that are considered by the editors as a contribution to teaching, practice and/or public policy related to health law. Previous volumes have focused on corporate, regulatory, bioethical and pharmaceutical issues, as well as patient rights and advocacy. This publication gives health law students the opportunity to edit an article on the journal of law. To visit the Annals of Health Law website, go to: luc.edu/law/centers/healthlaw/annals/index.htm. AHLA encourages lawyers and others with experience in the field of health law and life sciences to consider submitting a manuscript for publication in the journal. If your office has recently prepared a detailed legal note, letter, or presentation on a current health care topic of interest, you may submit that work to the journal for review. The AHLA encourages all health professionals with expertise in health and life sciences law to consider submitting a manuscript throughout the year.

If your office has recently prepared a detailed legal memorandum, letter, or presentation on a current health care legal topic, consider turning your work into a submission. AHLA welcomes potential authors to attract colleagues as co-authors who will share the work. Please read the Journal of Health Law and Life Sciences Law Author Guidelines before submitting an article for publication. The Journal of Health and Life Sciences Law (Journal) is an advantage of AHLA membership. The journal`s editorial team is made up of experienced members of the healthcare industry; They help identify issues that are critical to the health profession and the health industry, and they provide a professional peer review of all articles offered. Advance Directive is an online publication of the Annals of Health Law and Life Sciences, which is also published twice a year (fall and spring). Similar to the Annals, Advance Directive publishes articles that provide an overview of the different areas of health law. The advance directive allows health law students to write short articles on current health law issues, which are often at the center of debate among legislators, practitioners and academics.
